Govt committed to hold election in free and fearless environment: Regmi
Chairman of Interim Election Council, Khil Raj Regmi said on Monday that the government is committed to conduct the upcoming Constituent Assembly election in a free and fearless environment.
Addressing a program organised to mark the International Youth Day, Regmi said the government is working towards ensuring that all groups and citizens participate in the election.
"Only an election can end the political transition. We need your cooperation to this effect," said Regmi.
Regmi, on the occasion, distributed awards to outstanding youths of Nepal, including litterateur Jhamak Kumari Ghimire and cricketer Paras Khadka, among others. Nepalnews.com
