Nepal win fifth practice match in Sri Lanka tour
Nepali National Cricket team on Tuesday won their fifth practice match against North East Province of Sri Lanka by 168 runs after facing four defeats in a row in the island nation.
Electing to bat first, Nepal posted a target of 274 runs with the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
Anil Mandal scored 64 runs, Paras Khadka 37 runs, Binod Bhandari 30 runs, Subash Khakurel 26 runs and Sharad Vesawkar 26 runs for Nepal.
While chasing the target, North East were all out for 105 runs in 26 overs as Avinash Karn and Sharad Vesawkar grabbed three wickets each while Chandar Sawad took two wickets.
Previously, Nepal had suffered four defeats in a row against Sri Lanka U-23.
