FIFA World Cup trophy to be brought to Nepal on Dec 21
FIFA World Cup trophy is scheduled to be brought to Nepal on December 21 during the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour 2014.
Organising a press conference in the capital on Wednesday, Coca-Cola Company and All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) informed that the trophy will be brought to Nepal from Bhutan and will be taken to India after Nepal.
The trophy will be exhibited by organising a rally in the capital, said the organisers.
Only the World Cup winning team´s captain and the head of state are authorised to touch or hold the trophy during the world tour, said Coca-Cola´s operations vice-president for South West Asia Neeraj Garg.
This is the first time that the Nepal has been included in the FIFA World Cup trophy tour. nepalnews.com
