Dengue detected in Jhapa
A dengue patient has been found in Kakadvitta in Jhapa district.
Mohan Mainali of Kakadvitta in Mechinagar-10 has been defected with dengue. He was admitted to Siliguri-based Nebatia Getwell Hospital in India as fever did not subside even after being treated for a long time, RSS said. This is the first dengue case reported this year.
Dr PD Bhutiya involved in Mainali's treatment confirmed that he was suffering from dengue disease.
Two dozen persons had suffered from the disease in Kakadvitta in September alone last year.
However, Vector Controller at the District Public Health Office, Bed Prakash Ghimire, told RSS that the disease could not be confirmed without visiting Mainali and seeing his report. Nepalnews.com
