NEPSE loses 3 points
Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has continued to witness downward trend as it lost 3 points to settle at 536.45 points on Thursday from Sunday’s 539.44 points last week.
The stock market stock has declined by 3.92 points the previous week .
Over last week, most of the sub-indices of the secondary market witnessed negative as commercial banks lost 7.42 points, hotel 21.21 points, other 1.17 points, hydropower 15.83 points and finance 0.76 points.
However, insurance gained 45.43 points, manufacturing group gained 10.27 points and development banks 6.95 points.
In terms of highest transaction, Global IME Bank has topped the chart registering the turnover of Rs. 82.92 million, followed by National Life Insurance Company Rs. 52.71 million, Everest Bank Rs. 46.43 million, Chilime Hydropower Company Rs. 42.38 million and Nepal Life Insurance Company Rs. 39.03 million.
