Talks between govt and 33 parties' alliance get postponed
The third round of talks to be held on Sunday between the government and the 33 parties' alliance led by CPN-Maoist has been postponed.
"The government cited inadequate preparations as the reason for being unable to sit for talks today," said Pampha Bhusal, spokesperson of the CPN-Maoist.
The next round of talks will be held probably on Monday, according to a leader.
The government has been holding talks with the disgruntled parties so as to ensure participation of all in the upcoming Constituent Assembly election in November this year.
The HLPC, too, has been separately engaging in talks with the 33 parties' alliance and other poll-opposing groups to meet the same end. Nepalnews.com
