Nepal, Pakistan agree on mutual investment
Nepal and Pakistan have expressed commitment for mutual investment in the sectors like agriculture, tourism, trade, education and health sectors.
The agreement to this effect was signed between Finance Minister Shankar Koirala and his Pakistani counterpart Ishaq Dar after the end of two-day “Nepal-Pakistan Joint Economic Forum” held in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Similarly, Pakistan has agreed to increase scholarship quota for Nepali students along with increasing investment in agriculture, tourism, civil aviation and telecommunication sectors.
Likewise, Pakistan has also expressed commitment for the development of postal and health sectors by providing trainings.
The two-day meeting also discussed the agreements and progresses that were agreed between the two countries in the meeting held in Kathmandu in 2005. nepalnews.com
