NEPSE gains 7.86 points
Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 7.86 points to settle at 548.40 points on Thursday from Sunday’s 540.54 points last week.
As per the sub-indices of the secondary market, hotel groups gained 24.88 points, followed by other 14.10 points, commercial banks 8.93 points, development banks 6.53 points, hydropower 5.40 points and finance 0.86 points.
However, insurance group lost 10.90 points and manufacturing 2.70 points.
Meanwhile, the transaction amount has decreased by 12.50 percent to Rs. 634.5 million last week compared to Rs. 676.1 million the previous week.
Of the total transaction, A category companies contributed Rs. 271.4 million, which is 42.78 percent of the total transaction.
