Chinese ambassador pays farewell call on President Yadav
Chinese ambassador to Nepal Yang Houlan paid a farewell call on President Ram Baran Yadav at the latter's office on Friday.
Ambassador Yang and President Yadav shared views on issues of mutual interest and Chinese assistance to Nepal.
Yang, who has been named Chinese ambassador for Myanmar, had met Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai and Nepal Army chief Gaurav Shumsher Rana on Wednesday and Thursday respectively. He is to be replaced by Wu Chuntai.
Beijing is sending Yang, a senior diplomat, to Myanmar with growing interest of western countries particularly the USA in the military-ruled South East Asian nation. Nepalnews.com
