Business family donates Rs 10 m for constructionof school building in Chitwan

An entrepreneur family of Narayangarh, Chitwan has donated Rs 10 million for the construction of a community school building.

Dan Bahadur Shrestha (86) a resident of Narayangarh, has funded Rs 7.2 million on his own to construct a three-storied school building, state-owned news agency RSS reported. Likewise, his daughter and daughter-in-law also provided cash of around Rs.1.8 million for furniture of the building, said Satya Pradhan, one of the contributors.

The building is constructed for the Aadikavi Bhanu Bhakta Higher Secondary School in Narayangarh.

The infrastructure of the school is constructed in memory of his father and mother. Shrestha handed over the ownership of the building to the school administration.

Earlier too, Shrestha family had financially supported such initiatives in religious and educational sector several times. Nepalnews.com
