NOC estimates loss of Rs. 325 m
The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) monthly projected loss for the month of February stands at Rs. 325.3 million while it had estimated the same to be Rs. 330 million in the month of January.
As per the latest price list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) on February 1, the oil monopoly will incur loss of Rs. 1.34 per litre in diesel up from Rs. 1.22 per litre. However, the loss in cooking gas has decreased to Rs. 587.03 per cylinder from the previous Rs. 604 per cylinder.
Similarly, the state oil monopoly profit in petrol has also increased to Rs. 8.83 per litre from Rs. 7.96 per litre while profit in kerosene has declined to Rs. 12.22 per litre from Rs. 13.84 per litre.
Similarly, the corporation will make profit of Rs. 23.40 per litre in aviation fuel for the domestic purpose and Rs. 28.12 per litre for international purpose. Nepalnews.com
