Nepal-born man awarded 'Freelancer of the Year' in UK

A Nepal-born TV editor/colourist has been awarded the 'Freelancer of the Year' award in the UK.

ProductionBase, an online network for freelancers working in TV, film and commercial production announced that Ram Tripathi has won the 2012 Freelancer of the Year Award a few days ago.

"The awards were established to honour the unsung heroes of the British television, film and media production industries across the UK. This year six freelancers were shortlisted from among dozens of nominations by a panel of expert judges," PBS said on its website. Nepalnews.com
