Opposition parties meet to assess ongoing stir, prepare for Friday protests
Political parties in the opposition held a meeting the Nepali Congress Party Office, in Sanepa, Lalitpur, on Thursday, to discuss the ongoing anti-government protests, and the mass meeting in Kathmandu on Friday.
In a statement, Nepali Congress said the meeting evaluated the opposition's anti-government movement, which began on January 19. The statement has also called on the general public to participate in the protest meet in Tundikhel, in the capital on Friday.
NC President Sushil Koirala, UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal and Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Pashupati Shumsher Rana were present during today's meeting. Nepalnews.com
