Opposition to put up a massive show of strength calling for govt ouster today
The political parties in the opposition spearheading a nationwide anti-government protests are preparing to organise a massive show of strength in the capital Kathmandu on Friday.
The opposition political parties will organise protest rallies, demonstrations and a mass meeting to mark the conclusion of the first phase of nationwide protest programs organised to bring down the current UCPN (M)-led government.
Sources at the NC and UML, the major parties leading the protest programs, said that leaders and activists of various opposition parties will takeout protest rallies from various places in the capital that will converge into a mass meeting at Khullamanch.
Top leaders of NC, UML and other opposition parties are scheduled to address the mass meeting calling for the ouster of the Bhattarai government.
Political parties in the opposition have been organising anti-government protests since the past one month demanding ouster of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai to pave way for the formation of a national consensus government. Nepalnews.com
