ICT Conference 2013 kicks off
With the unique theme 'E-Democracy', ICT Conference 2013 organised by Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) kicked off at Hotel Yak and Yeti in the capital from Friday.
Inaugurating the conference, Minister for Science and Technology Keshav Man Shakya said that due to the lapses in the bureaucracy, information technology has not been able to take off in the country.
On the occasion, ICT experts said that the government should prioritise the ICT sector for its development.
The two-day event will have participation of experts from national and international level where they will share and exchange their experiences and developments of the sector.
