Nepal-Pak football friendly today

Nepal are playing Pakistan in the second of a two-match international football friendly series, in the Capital on Saturday.

In the first match played last week, Nepal was outplayed by the Pakistani team 0-1. It was Nepal´s first defeat against the South Asian neighbour since Nepal suffered a 2-0 loss in a friendly held in Pokhara in 2007. Of the 12 matches played against Pakistan so far, Nepal has won five, drawn four and lost three.

This is the second match for Polish coach Jack Stefanowski who took charge of the Nepali football team, ranked 170th in the FIFA rankings, last month. Nepalnews.com
