Schools, colleges shut in Lalitpur, Chitwan

Various student and teachers unions have shut down schools and colleges in Lalitpur and Chitwan districts, on Sunday.

In Lalitpur, teacher and student unions affiliated to CPN-Maoist imposed the shutdown against the sacking of three students by a local school. The unions have also accused the same school, DAV Sushil Kedia, of using text-books and courses meant for Indian students.
