Shut industries to resume operations soon

Minister for Industry Anil Kumar Jha said that the government has been working to resume the operation of state owned industries that have remained shut from quite some time.

Minister Jha who reached Udayapur to inspect the Udayapur Cement Factory on Saturday informed that the ailing industries including Biratnagar Jute Mill, Birgunj Sugar Mill, among others would come into operation gradually.

According to Jha, Biratnagar Jute Mill will resume its operation from mid-February while the remaining will resume their operation step by step.

Similarly, the government was also preparing to introduce a separate industrial security force to provide security to industries, Jha added. Nepalnews.com
