Microfinance Summit from Feb 14

Microfinance Summit is going to be held at Hotel Yak and Yeti, Kathmandu from February 14-16.

The conference is going to be jointly organised by the Centre for Micro Finance Nepal, Nepal Rastra Bank, Micro –Finance Bankers’ Association, Plan Nepal, Poverty Alleviation Fund, RMDC, Save the Children, Small Farmers’ Bank, Ministry of Cooperatives and Poverty Allevation, among others.

With the slogan ‘Socially Responsible and Sustainable Microfinance’ the conference aims to discuss the issues of micro finance and disseminate the information about the investment in the micro finance sector, according to the organisers.

The conference is a third edition of its kind while it has already been organised in 2008 and 2010. Nepalnews.com
