One killed, 10 injured as van veers off road

One person was killed and 10 others injured after a Tata Sumo van veered off the road, near Chhaimale, Kathmandu on Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Pushkar Rai (35). The van (Ma 2 Cha 34 82) was headed for Kathmandu from Hetauda, Makwanpur sad police.

Local reports said the van was ferrying UCPN (Maoist) cadres to the Capital, where the party is commemorating 'People's War Day'. Nepalnews.com
