CJ-led govt within two days: PM Bhattarai

Prime Minister Bauram Bhattarai on Thursday claimed that an election government led by Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi will be formed "within a day or two".

Speaking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport, Bhattarai said he was confident of the parties arriving at a consensus. According to him, the negotiations on the structure of the election government and its power are going on between the parties.

Insisting that CJ-led government is the only way to ensure free and fair elections, he said the current government would get continuity if the parties failed to agree on such a government.

Bhattarai was in Biratnagar to lay the foundation stone of a community building of Jain Terapanth. Nepalnews.com
