No breakthrough yet on election govt; talks to continue on Saturday
Another meeting of the four major political forces held at the President's office Friday evening ended without any understanding on the formation of the election government.
The leaders of the UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and Madhesi Front ended the meeting, agreeing to resume talks Saturday afternoon as they were still divided over the nitty-gritty of the new government, which is likely to be called a 'mechanism' or 'council'.
They went to Shital Niwas following internal discussions. While other parties have agreed to form the government headed by the Chief Justice, the CPN-UML remains still undecided. A meeting of the UML central committee this afternoon ended inconclusively. Nepalnews.com
