NEPSE gains 15.43 pts
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has increased by 15.43 points to settle at 530 points on Thursday last week. The week had begun on Sunday with NEPSE at 514.57 points.
As per the sub-indices of the secondary market, all the groups posted positive as commercial banks gained 20.74 points, manufacturing 23.61
points, hotel 12.02 points, other 7.05 points, hydropower 30.26 points, insurance 25.26 points, finance 1.92 points and development banks 1.48 points. However, trading group remained unchanged at 185.61 points.
Over the week, the stock market registered a turnover of Rs. 552.7 million trading 1720,423 unit shares through 5190 transaction with 116 companies while it had registered Rs. 444.8 million trading 1568,213 unit shares through 5108 transaction with 120 companies, the previous
week.
The transaction amount has also increased by 24.25 points.
NIDC Capital Markets Limited Promoter Share (Rs. 70.75 million), Nepal Bangladesh Bank (Rs. 65.32 million), Everest Bank (Rs. 36.94 million),
Nabil Bank (Rs. 35.42 million) and Bank of Kathmandu (Rs. 34.52 million) were the top five companies to hold highest transaction over last week. nepalnews.com
