CPN-Maoist to take to streets against four-party deal
Mohan Baidhya-led CPN-Maoist party is all set to orgainse demonstrations across the country in protest of an agreement among
four major political parties to form a government under CJ Khilraj Regmi.
Various fringe parties have expressed solidarity with the protests. CPN-Maoist has alleged that the accord reached yesterday was a direct result of 'foreign interference' in Nepali politics.
Party leader Baidhya has been maintaining that an all-party round-table conference should be organised to seek a solution to the crisis, which started following the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly in May last year. Nepalnews.com
