Himansu Thapa to get Sahitya Sadhana Samman

Prof. Dr Mohan Himansu Thapa is to be awarded with this year's Sahitya Sadhana Samman, state-owned news agency RSS reported.

The award established by the Oxford International Publication decided to award Thapa for his "great contribution to Nepali language and literary sector for the past seven decades".

The award carries a purse of Rs. 70,101. Similarly, the Publication has decided to award youth scientist Rijan Karki with Shami Youth Encouragement Prize. The award carries a purse of Rs. 25,101.
