Members of the four-party taskforce that prepared the draft of consensus on the election government, along with other second-rung leaders left the meeting held at the Special Committee's secretariat with an understanding to leave it to the top leaders to sort out the differences.

The top leaders are to hold a joint meeting with Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi after finalising the draft, UCPN (M) leader Krihsna Bahadur Mahara informed. He said the leaders will try to finalise the draft today itself.

The four-party taskforce in its draft has proposed an 11-member "interim election government" headed by CJ Regmi with a mandate to conduct the elections on June 5. nepalnews.com
