Chief of Army Staff of Nepal Army Gen Gaurav Shumsher Rana has said that NA cannot be mobilised when the country is faced with a political vacuum.

The army chief, who was addressing a function at the Army Staff College in Shivapuri, added that the army is the country's last resort. "Although the army can play a crucial role in resolving national problems, it cannot be deployed in political vacuum," he added.
