Stock market sees slight recovery

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has increased by 4.81 points to settle at 544.09 points on Thursday after a continuous plunge on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Through the secondary market had registered remarkable gain on Sunday posting 25.73 points to settle at 555.93 points on Sunday, it lost 7.01 points to settle at 548.92 points on Tuesday and 9.64 points to settle at 539.28 points on Wednesday.

As per the sub-indices, banking gained 7.73 points, hotels 0.56 points, hydropower 0.21 points, insurance 10.75 points and others 2.35 points. However, trading group lost 6.41 points, development bank 1.92 points and finance 0.29 points. Nepalnews.com
