Private sector alarmed by failure to reach political consensus
The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) expressed worry over the political parties’ failure to reach consensus to form the new government.
Speaking at a press conference in the capital on Thursday, FNCCI president Suraj Vaidya said that the political parties should arrive at an agreement for the consensus government at the earliest and introduce the budget on time for the economic development of the country.
Vaidya also said that the country’s security situation has been deteriorating due to prolonged political transition. nepalnews.com
