Illegal weapons collected in Ilam

The District Police Office, Ilam has collected a cache of 355 illegal weapons from different places in the district during the past one-and-a-half month, state-owned news agency RSS reported.

The police collected huge number of homemade guns and petrol bombs from 32 VDCs of the district.

Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) Bhim Bahadur Dahal at a press conference today shared that the police gathered a large number of illegally possessed weapons by issuing a public notice one-and-a-half month ago.

Earlier, the district police had collected 174 weapons from 28 VDCs of the district. nepalnews.com
