Security guard killed in Nepalgunj; two Indians arrested as suspects
A man working as a security guard in an industry in Nepalgunj of Banke district was shot dead on Thursday evening.
The deceased identified as Dal Bahadur Thapa Magar, security guard at Bageshwori Katha Udhyog, was shot dead near his residence at around 8:00 pm, reports quoted Banke District Police as saying. Magar was walking to the place where he worked when he was attacked.
Police immediately sprung into action after Magar was killed and acting on a tip off, arrested two Indian citizens in connection with the murder.
Police confiscated an American made pistol believed to be used in the shooting, some rounds of bullets and an Indian number plate motorbike from the suspects.
The arrested Indians have already admitted to killing Magar to spread terror in Nepalgunj, police said, adding that the killing could have been carried out by underground outfit involved in terrorist activities in the area. Nepalnews.com
