Paras Shah very critical but stable: Hospital
The condition of former crown prince Paras Shah remains very critical but stable, doctors attending to the former royal have said.
In its first statement since Shah was rushed to Samitivej Hosipital in Bangkok on February 19, the hospital said Shah, who was diagnosed with a major heart attack, has already been transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital.
“His condition remains very critical but stable. The doctors at Samitivej are doing their best,” said doctors Sayan Cheepudomwit, Parinya Kunawut and Kunichit Piyavechviratana in the statement. The doctors are still unable to ascertain the amount of damage to his brain, reports from the Thai capital said.
Meanwhile, his wife Himani visited Shah, who is yet to regain consciousness, on Friday, local media reports said. Himani had remained in Kathmandu, looking after her daughter Kritika who underwent a surgery of appendicitis about the same time.
