Singer Pramod Kharel injured in road accident

Singer Pramod Kharel has badly injured when a taxi he was travelling met wit an accident at Phedi in Kaski on Saturday.

Kharel, who was returning to Pokhara, his hometown, after performing in concerts in Banglung and Parbat received injuries in his head and shoulder as the taxi lost control and rammed into an electricity pole and then turned upside down.

He was rescued by the locals and admitted at Charak Hospital in Pokhara. He was then brought to Kathmandu for further treatment.

Kharel has given a number of hit numbers over the years like 'Mero Dil Chha Pokhara' and 'Dubayo Paapi Mayale'. Nepalews.com
