Mega Bank, Druggist Association sign deal

Mega Bank Nepal Ltd and Nepal Chemist and Druggist Association (NCDA), Bagmati Zone signed an agreement for Micro, SME and Retail loans.

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between CEO of Mega Bank Nepal Limited Anil Keshary Shah and chairman of NCDA (Bagmati Zone) Rameshwor Shrestha amidst a function in capital on Sunday.

As per the deal, Mega Bank will offer special facilities in deposits as well as Micro, SME and Retail loans to all the members of NCDA initially for the members within the Bagmati zone and in due course to the members throughout the country in various other zones, said the bank.

With this agreement, around 1200 medical entrepreneurs including various importers, wholesalers, and retailers of Bagmati Zone will get directly benefited, said Shrestha.

Around 60 percent of the total business of medicine is concentrated within the Bagmati Zone and this agreement will help in smoothly floating and in supporting the business of medicine, Shrestha added. Nepalnews.com
