Nepal Nat’l Cricket Team lose 2nd practice match in India
Nepali National Cricket Team lost to host Vijay Dhaiya Academy, Delhi by seven runs in their second practice match in India on Monday.
As Nepal chose to field first after winning the toss, host Academy posted a target of 204 runs with the loss of five wickets in the reduced 40 overs due to technical problem as Vijay Bhardaj and Vivek Rana scored 63 runs each while Saurav Kumar scored 39 runs and Ankur Jhulka 22 runs.
Sagar Pun grabbed two wickets for Nepal while Basant Regmi, Amrit Bhattarai and Shakti Gauchan took one wickets each.
While chasing the target, Nepal could score only 196 runs losing all their wickets in 39.3 overs. Anil Mandal scored 66 runs and Basant Regmi 23 runs.
Saurave Kumar and Satinder Thakran took three wickets each while Pradeep Parasan two wickets for the winning side.
Nepal had defeated D.I Khan Coaching Center, Delhi by 42 runs in their first practice match held in D.I Khan Senior Secondary School Ground, Delhi on Sunday.
