ANFA completes preparation for AFC Challenge Cup Group D Qualifiers
The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) said that it has completed all the preparation works to host the AFC Challenge Cup Group D Qualifiers scheduled for March 2, 4 and 6 at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu.
Speaking at the press conference in capital on Monday, ANFA president Ganesh Thapa said that the estimated cost of the tournament is Rs. 12.5 million. However, the final squad for the tournament is yet to be announced.
Nepal are drawn under Group D along with Palestine, Bangladesh and Northern Mariana Island, according to AFC headquarter in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Palestine will play against Bangladesh in the inaugural match on March 2 at 2:30 pm while Nepal will take on Northern Marina Island in their opener at 5:30 pm.
Similarly, Northern Marina Island and Palestine will take on each other on March 4 at 2:30 pm while Nepal and Bangladesh will face each other on the second match of the day at 5:30 pm.
Likewise, Bangladesh are set to play with Northern Marina Island at 2:30 and Nepal will take on Palestine at 5:30 on March 6.
The ticket price has been fixed at Rs. 300 per person for open parapet while Rs. 700 per person for closed parapet. nepalnews.com
