Stock market posts slight gain

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has increased by 2.17 points to settle at 542.44 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

As per the sub-indices, banking sector gained 4.12 points, development bank 0.21 point, hydropower 0.96 point and insurance 11.39 points. However, hotels lost 16.82 points, finance 0.32 points and others 4.7 points. Nepalnews.com
