Aaha-RaRa Gold Cup Football kicks off; JYC beat Dharan in opener

Samsung Jawalakhel Youth Club (JYC) defeated Dharan Football Club (DFC) 4-2 in the opening match of the 11th edition of Aaha-RaRa Gold Cup Knockout Football Tournament that kicked off in Pokhara from Tuesday.

As both the teams could not score in the regular and additional extra time, the match was forced for spot-kick where Jawalakhel beat Dharan in a penalty shoot-out to enter the quarterfinals.
