Stock market gains 4.36 pts

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index gained 4.36 points to settle at 522.63 points on Tuesday, the third trading day this week.

Though the stock index had lost12.55 points to settle at 508.36 points on Sunday, the first trading day, it gained upward trend from Monday gaining 9.91 points.

As per the sub-indices of the benchmark index, except trading group negative by 2.95 points all the groups posted positive banking by 6.11 points, hotels 16.64 points, development banks 1.07 points, hydropower 3.74 points, finance 0.73 points, insurance 1.01 points and other 3.53 points.

The share market registered the turnover of Rs. 68.3 million today, trading 244,515 shares through 848 transactions with 82 companies. nepalnews.com
