Dailekh fall out: CDO summoned, probe panel formed
Ministry of Home Affairs has summoned Dailekh CDO Umesh Dhakal to the capital a day after at least 50 people were injured in clashes between Maoist cadres and opposition sympathisers in the district headquarters. It has also formed a committee to probe into the incident.
MoHA Spokesperson Shanker Koirala said Dhakal has been summoned to Kathmandu and his replacement named.
The four-member probe committee, headed by MoHA Joint Secretary Laxmi Prastad Dhakal has been told to submit its report within seven days, the ministry said in a statement.
