Nepal thrash UAE by 86 runs to secure 2nd straight victory in ACC Women's C'ship
Nepal secured second straight victory after defeating UAE by 86 runs in the ongoing ACC Women’s Championship held in Thailand on Friday.
Electing to bat first, Nepal posted a target of 146 runs with the loss of five wickets as Sita Magar contributed 46 runs off 48 runs while Sarita Magar collected 41 runs off 44 runs and Nary Thapa 16 runs off 17 balls.
While chasing the target, UAE were restricted just to 59 runs in 22.4 overs as Sonu Khadka grabbed three wickets and Karuna Bhandari took two wickets.
Nepal had defeated Bhutan by eight wickets in the opener on Thursday.
