Gold price drops by Rs. 800 per tola

The price of gold has dropped by Rs. 800 per tola (11.664 gm) to settle at 57,800 per tola on Friday, over a week.

The price of the precious yellow metal was Rs. 58,600 per tola on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday while the price plunged by Rs. 100 per tola on Thursday and Rs. 700 per tola on Friday, the last trading day.

Similarly, silver price has also declined by Rs. 15 per tola to settle at Rs. 1125 per tola on Friday from Sunday’s 1130 per tola.
