At the function, President Yadav handed over the ´Rastragaurav´ decorations declared for former Prime Minister Krishna Prasad Bhattarai (Posthumously) and republican leader Ramraja Prasad Singh (Posthumously) to chairman of the Santa Leader Krishna Prasad Bhattarai Foundation, PL Singh, and son of Ramraja Prasad Singh, Dr. Manoj Kumar Singh.

Similarly, President Dr. Yadav also handed over the Mahaujjwol Rasttradeep decoration to sociologist and planner Dr. Harka Gurung (Posthumously) to his wife Mrs. Saroj Gurung.

The president also decorated 47 persons with the ´Suprabal Janasewashri´, 37 with ´Prabal Janasewashri´ and 14 with ´Janasewashri´ decorations, the Office of the President said.
