Nepalese women continue winning streak; thrash Malaysia by seven wickets
Nepal thrashed Malaysia by seven wickets in the ongoing ACC Women’s Championship held at Royal Chiang Mai Golf and Cricket Resort in Thailand on Sunday.
Electing to bat first, Malaysia posted a meager target of 66 runs, which Nepal chased down in just 11.3 overs and with the loss of three wickets.
Madhu Thapa scored 16 runs while Sita Magar and Nary Thapa hit 10 runs each to secure an easy victory for Nepal.
Nepal had defeated Bhutan by eight wickets in the opener on Thursday and UAE by 86 runs on Friday.
With three wins in three games, Nepal has collected 6 points to top Group A and has almost certainly secured its path to the semi-final round.
