FNCCI delegation off to India to participate in business meetings
The nine-member Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) delegation under the leadership of president Suraj Vaidya left for Agra, India to participate in the 19th edition of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) – Partnership Summit that kicked off from Sunday.
The three-day Summit is jointly organised by the government of India and CII with the theme Global for Enduring Growth.
Vaidya is scheduled to acknowledge under the topic “South Asia Economic Integration: On a New Path of Progress and Hope” on Monday where Ministers for Commerce from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Minister of Industry Anil Kumar Jha will have participation, said FNCCI in a statement.
Similarly, the delegation is also set to participate in the meeting of FNCCI-CII Joint Economic Council in January 30 in Delhi. The meeting will deal with economic trade relationship between two nations along with extending joint investment in the sectors like hydropower, infrastructure among others, said FNCCI.
Likewise, the federation representatives will also hold bilateral trade relationship meeting with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) representatives.
The delegation has also planned to hold meeting with French and Canadian investors in India to acquaint them about the investment potential sectors in Nepal and Nepal Investment Year 2012/13. Nepalnews.com
