Red Bull ‘B’ Division League kicks off; Shree Kumari, Satdobato win

The Martyrs Memorial Red Bull ‘B’ Division League 2013 kicked off at Halchowk Stadium in Kathmandu from Monday.

Shree Kumari Club Balkhu defeated Laligurans Pulchowk Sports Club 3-0 in the opener match while Satdobato Football Club beat Chyasal Youth Club 2-0 in the second match of the day.

Tirtha Rana Magar scored a hat trick for Shree Kumari while Bimal Rana Magar and Tanka Lama scored apiece for Sathdobato.

Altogether 13 teams are participating in the league. They are - Chyasal Youth Club, Birgunj Youth Academy Club, Brigade Boys Club, Tushal Youth Club, Swoyambhu Club, Mahabir Club, Satdobato FC, Boys Union Club, Kathmandu Club, Pulchowk Sports Club, United Club, Samajik Youth Club and Shree Kumari Club.

Only the title winning team will get promotion to A Division while bottom placed team will be relegated to C Division.

Similarly, the winner team will bag Rs. 400,000 while second, third and fourth place will receive Rs. 200,000, Rs. 100,000 and 50,000 respectively. Likewise, the best players including goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, forward and coach will be awarded with Rs. 25,000 each.
