Accounts of 164 Khotang schools frozen

The District Education Office, Khotang has frozen the accounts of 164 different schools in the district for not completing the projects for construction of various physical infrastructures.

The office froze the accounts of these schools citing that these schools failed to complete the projects for construction of physical infrastructure at schools which they had committed to complete within specified fiscal year.

Among the schools whose accounts are frozen include 81 primary schools, 38 lower secondary schools and 45 secondary and higher secondary schools.

These schools had committed to complete projects for construction and repair of classroom blocks and girls toilets within the Fiscal Year 2011/2012. Nepalnews.com
