Four men break Kailali police custody
Four men being held at the District Police Office, Kailali broke out from custody early on Wednesday morning.
The inmates, who have been accused of crimes ranging from human trafficking to drug peddling, local police said. According to a police report, Narad Bohara faces human trafficking charges. Nabin Bhujel, has been accused of drug peddling. Similarly, Akash Poudel and Rupesh Chaudhary have been accused of being involved in theft and robbery.
The inmates breached the office's walls and fled, said local officials.
A head constable, who was manning the office at the time of the incident, has been held for questioning. Officials suspect that the constable may have abetted the inmates. Nepalnews.com
