Before the joint meeting, President Yadav had a separate discussion with Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai on the latest political developments especially the series of clashes between the cadres of the ruling and the opposition parties in different parts of the country.
Emerging from the meeting, PM Bhattarai said he told the President that the government is in favor of elections by end of May and that the talks between the parties were going to be focused on the polls. Nepalnews.com
