Couple murdered in Sindhupalchowk

An elderly couple was murdered in Listi VDC-5 in Sindhupalchowk district Tuesday night.

Villagers found the bodies of Bhakta Bahadur Pradhan, 65, and his wife in a pool of blood on the patio of their house Wednesday morning and informed the police. They were apparently beaten with a heavy object, police said.

According to police, they might have been murdered while resisting a robbery. Nepalnews.com
